In new research on enterprise architecture tools Avolution’s ABACUS received the highest product scores in 3 of the 5 Use Cases.
The December 2019 Gartner report “Critical Capabilities for Enterprise Architecture Tools”* evaluated Avolution’s ABACUS, which received the highest use case scores for the Architecture Modeling Use Case (4.20 out of 5), Rearchitecting the Enterprise for Transformation Use Case (3.88 out of 5) and Innovation Use Case (3.80 out of 5).
In the report, Gartner, the world’s leading research and advisory company, evaluates enterprise architecture tools. It explains that “Critical capabilities’ are attributes that differentiate products/services in a class in terms of their quality and performance. Gartner recommends that users consider the set of critical capabilities as some of the most important criteria for acquisition decisions.”*
Avolution’s Dr Tim O’Neill said: “To engage effectively across the business, architects need to provide quick, intuitive access to information.
“Architecture is often about giving people a unified view of technology and business strategy. It is also increasingly data-driven: metrics need to be relevant, transparent and easy to update.
“In the 2020s, we believe visualizations and regular data-driven reporting are key to motivating decision-makers. ABACUS’ interactive Gantt charts, Graph View for modeling enterprise relationships, and no-code algorithms for setting up analytics provide ways to visually explore data so it is understood by users across the enterprise.
“We believe this Gartner analysis recognises ABACUS’ performance for Use Cases in demand from large, high-growth businesses.”
In October 2019, Gartner recognized Avolution as a Leader in its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Architecture Tools**.
