Human-Centered & Agile: Digital Enterprise Architecture Summit

Updated on

Avolution Enterprise Architecture Summit 2020

Designing business and technical solutions for the largest enterprises demands continual learning and often the ability to adapt successful techniques from peers and other industries.

This week over 1000 enterprise architects from across the globe will join the 2nd Digital Enterprise Architecture Summit to hear from their colleagues in financial services, government, infrastructure and other industries. Presenters include architects from:

  • Australia’s largest rail freight operator
  • A world leading semiconductor, automotive, industrial IoT company
  • Leaders in digitalization of local government
  • Global insurance and financial services companies

They will discuss how a new breed of architects is delivering on-demand data to guide businesses as conditions change rapidly, and as technology stacks become more complex.

Enterprise architects have to collaborate across a range of technology and strategic tasks. These include managing data, analytics and roadmaps for cybersecurity, “digital first” initiatives, business processes, application portfolios and technical debt.

Both collaborative technologies which have increased with work-from-home, and algorithms to automate data calculations play their part in this new style of EA.

Presentations will cover how to create a human-centred enterprise architecture, agile architecture and sprints, using scenario analysis to improve resilience, the benefits of roadshows when communicating to business stakeholders, and getting the most out of frameworks such as ArchiMate, TOGAF and BPMN.

The Summit commences at 6pm AEST (9am BST) on Thursday 8th July with a presentation on “How to Win at EA Sprints and Marathons” by Dr Tim O’Neill from Avolution (host of the Summit).

The Digital Enterprise Architecture Summit is free to attend, and registration is open at: https://www.avolutionsoftware.com/about/events/digital-enterprise-architecture-summit-2020/
