Enterprise architecture leader Avolution will showcase its cloud-based enterprise modeling and data analytics web-app ABACUS 5.0 at Gartner’s Symposium and ITxpo in Barcelona this week.
Delegates can see a demonstration at Stand 114 and also attend Avolution founder Dr Tim O’Neill’s presentation “5 Quick Wins that give Enterprise Architects an edge” on Wednesday 9th November 12:10pm, ITxpo Stage B, CCIB.
Avolution’s Dr Tim O’Neill said: “With ABACUS Cloud, Avolution has broken free of the pack, being the first tool which allows EAs to undertake modeling and simulations in a truly cloud-based environment and to offer architects automated cloud-based simulations for metrics including financial metrics, complexity and reliability. This means that the analytics and algorithms available in ABACUS to make sense of complex data can now be run server-side and in the cloud, leveraging potentially unlimited computing power.
“ABACUS is also the only enterprise architecture tool to offer the advantages of a graph-database back end, allowing EAs to future-proof their programmes by being able to restructure and update data and to adopt new frameworks as needed.
“Large enterprises look to IT and enterprise architects to guide the complex process of evolving critical systems and managing digital transformation with confidence. Expert practitioners need to be able to access and manipulate huge datasets quickly to model and manage legacy rationalization, roadmapping and initiatives such as cloud migration.”
All ABACUS files are encrypted with AES-256 at rest and in transit, providing gold standard and industry-leading cybersecurity.
ABACUS 5.0 also provides a user-friendly diagramming and modeling interface with refreshed, modern software and design aesthetics.
Architects can centralize data and ensure that this information remains current and relevant by roundtripped from Excel, Visio, SharePoint and now Google Sheets.
ABACUS Cloud is enabled by a proprietary Web-based Application Virtualization Environment (WAVE) technology. It is available as a cloud-based service allowing users to access their data and models on any device, anywhere in the world. ABACUS Cloud requires no install or configuration. IT practitioners can leverage powerful server side scripts, integrations, and simulators to model, analyse, visualize and deliver recommendations quickly.
