For those of us who regularly have to engage with limited attention spans, order can often mean the difference between calm and a meltdown. And a well-prepared environment can be absolutely essential.

Notice that everything this adorable girl needs to prepare the apple for consumption is right there at her fingertips? Notice what’s missing? Anything she doesn’t need! What an inviting tray – I’d eat an apple every day.
Taking the same approach in the workplace can be a subtle yet powerful technique. By preparing an environment for our coworkers where they have everything they need right at their fingertips, and nothing that they don’t need. Using a combination of ABACUS’ dashboards we can do just that.

In this example, I have someone who needs to show how various applications and databases communicate/interface with each other. In the worst case scenarios, I might find someone in that role working with a work-space that looks something like this:

Create a Dashboard (a configured set of windows)
or Update a Dashboard.
