Market Guide notes representative vendors and their fit with common business process use cases.
Gartner Inc., a leading industry analyst firm has listed as a representative vendor modeling and analytics specialist Avolution in its June 2017 “Market Guide of Enterprise Business Process Analysis”*.
Avolution was mentioned for its ABACUS toolset, which supports business process modeling, analysis, and visualization for practitioners and strategist working across a range of disciplines.
Analysts Marc Kerremans and Samantha Searle explain in the Guide that:
“EBPA tools need to have capabilities that go beyond process modeling and help align internal business operations with external customer interactions.”
Avolution’s Dr Tim O’Neill said:

The Guide lists four major use cases included in Enterprise Business Process Analysis, Supporting Digital Transformation by Linking Strategy to Execution, Improving Processes by Process Modeling and Analysis, Assessing the Impact of Change by Connecting Process Models With EA, Modeling and Preparing Business Processes for Process Automation.
Over the past year, Avolution has updated and strengthened its user experience, server-side simulations and algorithms for scenario planning, support for strategy execution and business and IT transformation, data integrations including Google Drive, SharePoint and MS Office, and enhanced integrations with complementary market tools, such as Qlik, ServiceNow and Technopedia.
O’Neill added:

And ABACUS received the highest product score for the Speeding Time to Value Use Case, and the second highest score in the Creating Signature-Ready Actionable Deliverables Use Case, two of three Use Cases in the January 2017 Gartner report “Critical Capabilities for Enterprise Architecture Tools”***.
