May 25, 2010
Avolution, provider of the market leading ABACUS® solution for enterprise modelling and the metrics-based planning and analysis, today announced the release of an updated the TeleManagement Forum's New Generation Operations Systems and Software (NGOSS) library (aka Frameworx) for its ABACUS enterprise modelling solution.
The library can be downloaded for free from the Avolution Community.
Dr Tim O’Neill (founder) said: “We are pleased to announce the release of an updated ABACUS library supporting the TeleManagement Forum's NGOSS standard including the Business Process Framework (eTOM) release 8.0, Information Framework (SID) release 9.0 and the Application Framework (TAM) release 3.2. Users can now create complete Telecom models simply and easily using the standard modelling and diagramming features of ABACUS. Best of all, as with all ABACUS libraries, this library is available free of charge to all users of the software. Finally, it is worth mentioning that this library took under one person-day to create, thanks to the unique flexibility and power of the ABACUS tool."
